The BKG Foundation, officially registered in 2021, consolidates the philanthropic activities of the Belayneh Kindie Group under a single umbrella. Led by Mrs. Adanech Kefale, the spouse and business partner of Mr. Belayneh Kindie, the foundation has been actively supporting communities in the areas of health, education, infrastructure development, environmental protection, feeding programs, and sports. Between 2018 and 2023 alone, BKG allocated over ETB 450 million to fulfill its corporate social responsibilities.

One of its key contributions was purchasing a bond worth ETB 36 million for the construction of the GERD (Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam). Additionally, BKG contributed ETB 28 million to support the rehabilitation efforts of Oromia, Amhara, and Somali regional governments for internally displaced citizens and ETB 10 million to the West Gojam Zone Administration for youth job creation initiatives.

The foundation has also taken steps to address food insecurity by establishing a feeding center in Addis Ababa, which serves meals to up to 500 people daily. Constructed at a cost of ETB 15 million, the center operates with an annual budget of ETB 5.5 million. Moreover, BKG has constructed 20 houses in Bahir Dar and 10 houses in Finote Selam for low-income citizens, with a combined cost of ETB 30 million. It also provides ETB 1500 monthly allowances to 163 low-income residents in Bure city on a permanent basis.

Additionally, BKG built a library and ICT center for Damot High School in Finote Selam at ETB 7 million and partnered with Medrock Investment Group to construct a primary school in Mankusa town.
